Explore Lofoten 2019 – Large Format Photography Workshop
Explore the wonderful Lofoten Archipelago with your large format camera during a 5 day workshop. Together we will create a workspace open for photographers from all over the world. Lofoten provides the most fascinating scenery and we will visit iconic spots for photography as well as some hidden gems. Ballstad in Lofoten, October 9.–13. 2019.
Registration deadline is August 10, 2019.
Steep mountains rising from the sea, dramatic fjord landskape, picturesque villages and beautiful beaches will appear in front of your camera during these days. This is a very unique opportunity to work with other photographers devoted to large format photography far north.
This workshop aims to make you grow as a large format photographer – technically and – not at least – aesthetically. I will inspire you to work even better with visualization, light, lines, composition and storytelling.
We will spend hour and hours outdoors with our cameras, but you will also be able to process your sheets and scan your negatives if you like. We will also put up a professional inkjet printer if you would like to learn more about printing and having your images printed. Thus we combine classic photographic technique for the 19th century with digital technology of today.
We start every morning with breakfast at the hotel and go on discussing yesterday´s photos. In the afternoons you can work with processing, scanning and printing.
